As a former participant of an ERP5-Implementation for Infoterra GmbH, an EADS-Astrium company, I follow 100% the thoughts of Maik.

After several month of working on ERP5 the big advantages comparing to other, non-free ERP-System are obviously. One of them is for example the strong and powerful workflow engine which comes with Zope. This offers a very comfortable possibility to map complex business cases into ERP5 workflows. But this is only one example of real advantages of Open Source ERP Systems, especially ERP5.

Anyway, last week was a very interesting article in the german "Computerwoche", this could be read
here.

Ok, that`s just some impressions of someone who has real experience with Open Source EPR and not only theoretical.

So long, Kay
