As a former participant of an ERP5-Implementation for Infoterra GmbH, an EADS-Astrium company, I follow 100% the thoughts of Maik.
After several month of working on ERP5 the big advantages comparing to other, non-free ERP-System are obviously. One of them is for example the strong and powerful workflow engine which comes with Zope. This offers a very comfortable possibility to map complex business cases into ERP5 workflows. But this is only one example of real advantages of Open Source ERP Systems, especially ERP5.
